She started taking private vocal lessons at age 13, and by her sophomore year of high school, she started getting cast as the lead in musicals. Juliette was in band in middle school, danced and did choir in elementary and high school. Juliette’s dad showed her different genres of music at a young age, and her mom introduced her to theater and films. Juliette is a proud first-generation Cuban-American. Joslynn and her family even play “The Voice” at family parties. She can release her feelings and sort through them by singing. Things can get a bit chaotic in a household of 11 people. In total, they have had around 20 kids come through their home. Joslynn has eight sisters, and her parents have been fostering kids for the past eight years. Max incorporates music in every show, and Joslynn has even had a chance to sing at some of the performances. Joslynn has been working magic shows with local illusionist Max Fleet since she was 12. One of her most unique extracurricular activities is her role as a magician’s assistant. Joslynn has always loved music and is a skilled pianist. Kara even dropped her first EP last summer, which garnered positive publicity and the opportunity to perform at venues in the U.K. During the day, Kara works on her music and songwriting, posts covers to her YouTube channel, and, when she’s not working, loves to gig at local bars and restaurants. Now, Kara works the nightshift as a caregiver for the elderly as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. The campaign turned out to be a national commercial, and Kara’s original song was showcased for the world to hear. She showed up on set and was put in a car, told to sing an original song and before she knew it, Julia Michaels was riding as her passenger. She even had the opportunity to participate in an Uber campaign. Kara had a short stint where she drove for Uber and would always serenade her passengers. She started a short-lived girl band after high school, which included a record deal. Kara has been singing since she was a kid and pursuing music professionally since her early 20’s. When she’s off of the stage, she enjoys family time with her boyfriend, Jesse, of five years, her daughter Leilani and her bonus daughter, Georgia. Jacquie commands the stage with high-energy performances and powerhouse vocals. She performed at the Oregon Jamboree and also at the famed Ponderosa Lounge & Grill. Four years ago, Jacquie started a band and has been gigging out whenever she can at bars, weddings, casinos and festivals. She has sung the national anthem for the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers, Alan Jackson, Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride, Brett Young, Dan + Shay, and more. Keeping her momentum as an entrepreneur, Jacquie is now the successful business owner of her own wedding DJ company. At a young age, she created her first business doing odd jobs and even invited other teens to work for her. His grandfather worked as a gospel producer and manager for various quartet groups in Memphis and had a significant influence on Brandon’s passion for music.īeing raised by a single mother, Jacquie understands the struggle as well as strength and hard work because of her upbringing. Brandon moved back to Memphis after his beloved grandfather passed away. While in LA, Brandon became deeply involved in the ballroom scene, which became a welcoming space for him to empower himself and express his creativity. Brandon even had the opportunity to sing the national anthem at Staples Center for the L.A. He relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams, which eventually led him to tour and perform background vocals for Ama Lou, Snoh Aalegra and Kanye West. Now, she’s writing a lot of her own music and wants to perform.īrandon received a microphone as a birthday gift when he was 5, and that’s when his love for music and R&B began. As a teenager, Rudi won a radio competition and performed a duet on stage with the band Boys Like Girls. Her first performance was at age 2 when her mom handed her a mic at a kid’s expo and she sang “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes. Rudi has struggled to find her place at the shop and feels that she’s meant to be a performer. Rudi’s parents own a body shop where she and her four siblings work. Rudi also loves mariachi and Spanish music, and it’s how she stays connected with her heritage. Rudi’s grandfather was a talented Mariachi musician and the only other singer in the family. Her grandfather passed away right before she was born, and her grandmother was convinced that Rudi was her grandfather reincarnated. Rudi was born into a family who knew she was destined for music.
